Bridge Counseling and Wellness provides a therapeutic and confidential yoga class free for our counseling clients. Our instructors are experienced, credentialed and stay up-to-date in their field.
Our professional experience and definitive research suggest that exercise, yoga and meditation are effective tools for reducing anxiety, depression and stress. Our classes offer a safe space to experience the benefits of physical activity and are a big part of what makes our counseling center unique.
1. Fitness and/or Wellness Evaluation (one per established client)
All new and current clients may schedule one complimentary fitness and/or wellness evaluation. Fitness and wellness evaluations are designed to assess your current fitness, diet and wellness quality, identify goals and assist you in developing a plan to help you meet those goals. Please contact Jennifer Owens to schedule. Times available to schedule your evaluation are Friday 8:30-9:30am.
2. Therapeutic Yoga with Shawna
Look inward for wisdom and insight as you practice being in the present and merging your breath with the rhythm of your body. This class is appropriate for beginners or more experienced yogis. Wednesday at 6:15.
Additionally, we offer classes in Qi Gong, Meditation and Tai Chi in 6 week cycles for a fee. Please view the Wellness Services page to learn more!
