Mindfulness Based Ecotherapy Group
Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy (MBE) is a blending of Mindfulness and Ecopsychology. MBE uses nature to facilitate mindful awareness. MBE is used as a framework for helping individuals and families to find deeper connections in their own lives, and to give more meaning and enjoyment to the activities of daily living.
Juniper Owens, LCSW is a certified ecotherapist, Yasei Forest Therapy Guide and experienced psychotherapist with Bridge. She is a leader in the field of nature connection in the southeast and will be your facilitator for this group.
Session Dates:
6/27, 7/25, 8/22, 9/19, 10/24, 11/21
Thursdays – 5:30-7:30
Each session will dive into a MBE skill and practice which include:
Mindful Awareness, Radical Acceptance, Wise Mind and Wise Body, Letting Go, Living in the Now, Centering, Connecting, Nature as Metaphor, Nature as Teacher, Nature as Healer and Living in True Self.
Investment: $45 per session and $22o for all 6 sessions
