Meditation Prescriptions were designed to help folks apply the principles of mindfulness and compassion to the unique problems we all face. Sometimes it can be hard to know exactly which practices will help the most for a specific issue, and the amount of information can be overwhelming. Amanda has created a package of four practices and meditations that will target each issue directly. Also included in the workshop will be journaling prompts and a discussion of self-care practices, again specifically chosen for the issue we are working with. Each participant will receive a digital download with audio recordings of the meditations, and a pdf guide.

Dr. Amanda O’Bryan is a meditation teacher who enjoys the challenge of combining science and spirituality to create a new method of teaching, and a perspective that is both modern and meaningful. Before becoming a full-time meditation teacher, Amanda worked as a Psychology professor. She earned her PhD in Experimental psychology in 2012, and brings that knowledge of human behavior and the brain to her teachings. Amanda strives to create a compassionate and non-judgmental learning atmosphere.
