A growing body of research indicates that simply being outdoors in the presence of nature has positive effects on our physical and mental wellbeing. Some people also find it easier to say what is on their minds while walking. Outdoor therapy has the added benefit of increasing vitamin D levels, boosting serotonin, improving sleep, increasing focus, and improving physical health. Your therapist will most likely be willing to do a walking session around the office anytime for no additional fee, but we are also willing to meet established clients for trail walks or incorporate movement or mindfulness-based approaches according to your needs in a natural setting. Please contact your therapist directly if you’d like to arrange an off-site, outdoor session.
Outdoor sessions are $150 for a 60 minute session or $200 for 90 minutes
Phone Therapy (Nicole)

Mindfulness Based Intensive Anxiety Treatment (Jennifer)
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) is the gold standard and extremely effective method of treatment for severe anxiety issues such as phobias (flight/travel, heights, confined spaces etc.), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), PTSD, panic attacks and agoraphobia. Research indicates that this type of treatment can actually change the way the brain responds to fear, thus increasing resilience and resistance to anxiety. Using a gentle, supportive and mindfulness approach, you will gradually be exposed to anxiety triggers which will eventually reduce and even diminish anxiety over time. These sessions are conducted both in and outside of the office based on your individualized needs.
Mindfulness Based Social Anxiety Treatment (Jennifer)
Social anxiety can make everyday social interactions difficult and cause irrational fear, self-consciousness, embarrassment and panic. Talk therapy is an effective starting point for treatment of social anxiety, but sometimes it is not enough. Using mindfulness-based strategies outside of the office; you will be exposed to social situations with the support, guidance and encouragement of your therapist. This unique therapy support will help transition the progress you make from the office to everyday social interactions and experiences.
