Parker Bowling, MSSW, CSW

Therapist

Parker is a Certified Social Worker (CSW) and mindfulness meditation teacher certified through Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s two-year teacher training program.

As a therapist, Parker takes a holistic person-in-environment approach that invites you to bring your whole self to each session, including all of the identities, relationships, environments and systems that impact your life. He believes that radical healing is possible and draws on an eclectic array of therapeutic techniques, including somatic techniques and mindfulness-based therapies, to meet you where you are and accompany you in your journey towards becoming intimate with your innate wholeness.

His focus includes supporting people experiencing feelings of anxiety and depression in the face of life’s diverse range of challenges, whether they be the end of a relationship, integrating individual and collective trauma, performance-related stress, existential questioning, or climate anxiety. He also supports clients seeking to integrate psychedelic experiences, including ‘bad trips,’ in a safe and affirming environment.

Parker provides LGBTQIA+ friendly services and gender affirming care for people who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender fluid and/or gender nonconforming, including support through the medical transition process.

He is practicing under the clinical supervision of Jennifer Puckett, LCSW.
