Peter Ninneman MSW, LCSW
Peter (he/him/his) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field since 2011. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame in 2009, then went to Washington University in St. Louis for a master of social work degree. While living in St. Louis, Peter practiced in both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment programs as well as private practice. His practice specialties include substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, and smoking cessation. In general, Peter uses an eclectic mix of mindfulness, CBT, and REBT approaches to help clients develop greater coping and insight. Peter also practices EMDR for treatment of PTSD. He brings to therapy a great belief in each of his clients, a sense of humor, and all kinds of metaphors. Outside of work, Peter spends most of his time with his wife and two children, and enjoys hiking, mushroom identification and foraging, records, and houseplants.
