Sarah Lashbrook LCSW, HTCP, RYT 200

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Sarah (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Reiki Master. Sarah earned her Master’s degree in 2007 and began her journey into helping others heal as an advocate for a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter/Advocacy Center. She expanded her focus to therapeutic services for Elementary and Middle School students before moving into private practice. During this time, she was trained as a facilitator with the Mindful School Program and also became a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Reiki Master. She landed her career in private practice where her passion lies in walking through the healing process with her clients and assisting them in finding their personal power. In Sarah’s session she takes a holistic approach and uses techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. She also utilizes her Healing Touch and Reiki techniques which are both energy medicines where she uses her hands in a heart centered and intentional way. These techniques are used to manipulate the energy centers in the body to support and facilitate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. She is experienced in working with individuals processing trauma, anxiety, depression, improving self-esteem, women’s health, and chronic pain. Sarah’s sessions are rooted in compassion and mindfulness with a client centered approach. She truly believes in an individual’s innate ability to grow, transform, and heal given the proper environment where they can feel safe to explore themselves.
