While working at The University of Kansas Children’s Psychiatric Hospital for five years as a charge nurse and preceptor, she specialized in children and adolescent psychiatry. Erin moved to Louisville in 2016 where she worked as a nurse at Our Lady of Peace Psychiatric Hospital. For the past two years, she’s worked with children and adolescents while finishing her Master’s degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has worked with patients across the lifespan who have been suffering from ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, eating disorders, and other behavioral issues. Erin shares our philosophy of taking an integrated approach to mental health care and emphasizes the value of a healthy diet (including supplements when appropriate) and exercise with her patients.
Erin was awarded the Sigma Theta Tau membership award during both her undergraduate program as well as in graduate school. She is a member of professional nursing organizations including The American Psychiatric Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International, where she serves as a nurse leader.
Erin will be working to provide medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and more for new and existing clients at Bridge. She is passionate about working with all ages to consider psychopharmacology and/or behavioral interventions. She is committed to giving you the time and attention needed by understanding your struggles and working with you to develop a plan of care.
