Rhonda is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Professional Art Therapist that believes in the power of healing and improved well being through the process of creativity and positive thinking. Rhonda believes that everyone can reach their greatest potential with the right kind of support and nurturance. Rhonda is flexible in her approach and is able to adapt her techniques to meet the needs of each person she works with. She likes to create a space for her clients to explore their inner selves through the process of uninhibited art making. Rhonda has experience working with people of all ages who are overcoming Addiction Issues, Anxiety, Depression and Trauma. Rhonda earned her M.Ed in Counseling with a Concentration in the Expressive Therapies from the University of Louisville in 2008. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings including both inpatient and outpatient facilities.
In her free time, Rhonda likes to engage in movement meditation whether it is through yoga, hiking, or hoop dance. She likes to use her creativity in the studio making art and in the kitchen baking healthy snacks. She believes in the power of positive thinking and intention and has seen in her own life how this kind of focus can assist with overcoming fear and self-limiting beliefs. She believes in holistic care approaches and has experienced positive transformation through techniques that combine mind, body and spirit.
