Allison creates space for you to explore you. As she guides students into movement or in stillness, her classes are designed to connect to the self. Her favorite areas to explore are intuitive movement, the community of yoga and using voice to exercise self-expression.
In 2015, she completed a 230-Hour YTT at Asheville Yoga Center under Kimberly Puryear. Since, she’s been influenced by multiple workshops and CEU’s that have shaped her practice including Off the Mat, Into the World (Oakland, CA), Free Your Voice with Amber Fields (Berkeley, CA) and the Assisting Intensive with Janet Stone (San Fransisco, CA). Allison has taught over 500 classes in the Raleigh Area in NC and, where she resides now, in Louisville, KY.
Academically, Allison studied Health Communication where her program director’s greatest message was supporting empowerment over health. Allison continues to carry this message as she encourages autonomy over mental, physical and spiritual health on the mat and in daily life. Currently, she is completing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
