Hailey Spivak is a Certified Health Educator. She graduated with a BS in Communication studies, with a focus in Public Advocacy and Women’s Health from The Ohio University. Since 2015, she has been a part of three non-profits, both nationally and internationally, empowering individuals in healthy decision making by implementing and facilitating workshops promoting primary prevention and harm reduction.
She values the imperative need for health communication between client and provider, specifically in this day and age of technology, ensuring comprehension and confidence for clients when they are embarking on the journey of initial step taking toward mental health support.
Shawna Dellacave, LPATA, RYT
Shawna Dellecave, LPATA, RYT, is certified yoga teacher and a licensed professional art therapist associate. She is a professional musician and artist. She is a trained dancer and has practiced yoga since 2001. She earned your yoga teaching certificate under the direction of Laura Spaulding at Yoga East in Louisville, KY. She has also studied the works and teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Swami Muktananda, B.K.S. Iyengar, Shri R. Sharath Jois, and Kino MacGregor. Her personal yoga practice is strongly rooted in the Ashtanga System.
Shawna also has a Master’s Degree in Expressive Therapy from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from Northern Kentucky University. In her professional life, she is devoted to advocacy for individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. In her free time, she loves writing songs, playing music with friends, making messes with paint, gardening, obsessing over house décor, sewing, dancing, and so much more.

Kathryn Petrey, E-RYT, MAMFT
Sliding Scale Therapist
Kat began her yoga practice in 1998 and pursued teacher training in 2008 through Eternal Health Yoga, in order to begin sharing her love of yoga with others. Kat has a strong belief that this practice brings transformation, inner calm, acceptance and greater balance to one’s life. She has found yoga asana to serve as a therapeutic, holistic approach to healing, as it is rooted in the body-mind-spirit connection. Anyone can practice yoga, as yoga is the breath. Inspired by the Jivamukti Yoga Method, Ashtanga and Hatha styles, you’ll find Kat’s classes to be a mix of focus on breath, intention, lightness and graceful flow. Each class or private session is different, offering a variety of yoga postures, modification and pranayama techniques to help one center, allow space for healing and transcend the limitations of the mind.
She has studied the works and teachings of Sri Pattabhi Jois, B.K.S Iyengar and The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. In addition to traditional Ashtanga and Hatha systems, her yoga training incorporated a focus on yoga as a lifestyle, nutrition and studies in Yin and Kundalini Yoga. Kat’s private sessions offer the opportunity for exploring yoga philosophy and teachings, as well as how the practice may apply to each individual’s lifestyle, personal story and current need. Her sessions encourage one to take pause, to deepen self-awareness and expand one’s understanding and perception of themselves, others and life through mindfulness and devotion to practice. Kat continues to learn and grow as a yoga practitioner and share new information with her students, in participating in continuing education, workshops and trainings.
In addition to holding a 200 hour RYT certification and being registered with Yoga Alliance, Kat also holds certifications in Reiki, Vedic Thai Massage and is currently proving mental health services as a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, specializing in Individual, Relational and Couples counseling.
Sarah Barber, MSW, LCSW
Certified Nutrition Consultant (and Therapist)
Sarah Barber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified nutrition and wellness consultant with a passion for helping others. Sarah has been working or volunteering in clinical settings since she was a teenager. She graduated with a BSW and an MSSW from the University of Louisville. Upon graduation, Sarah began working in community mental health. Sarah enjoyed working with adults ages 18 and older with a variety of diagnosis including but not limited to; Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. However, Sarah specialized in helping those diagnosed with anxiety and personality disorders. Sarah understands that many individuals with either personality disorders or anxiety struggle with emotional and behavioral dysregulation and that having a positive therapeutic relationship with their counselor is the first step towards recovery. Sarah has worked with individuals utilizing both cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy. She also understands the benefit of non-traditional approaches such as focusing on nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness activities.
Through her time working in both stroke and oncology programs, Sarah has also gained extensive experience working with individuals with chronic physical health conditions. Sarah understands how life changing a new physical health diagnosis can be and enjoys helping her clients process and cope with their new reality. Sarah specializes in using flexible client centered approaches, mindfulness-based strategies, and solution focused talk therapies to help individuals heal mind, body and spirit. Sarah firmly believes that what happens in counseling is only effective if you also put in the work in your everyday life. Sarah will help you create a plan and learn the skills you need to be your best, most complete self.
