Bridge Counseling and Wellness provides a therapeutic and confidential yoga class free for our counseling clients. Our instructors are experienced, credentialed and stay up-to-date in their field.
Our professional experience and definitive research suggest that exercise, yoga and meditation are effective tools for reducing anxiety, depression and stress. Our classes offer a safe space to experience the benefits of physical activity and are a big part of what makes our counseling center unique.
1. Guided Meditation Sits
Attend a group meditation sit to increase your meditation and mindfulness practice if that is a part of your mental health wellness plan. We open with a short discussion, sit together for 30 minutes in silence and follow up with 10 more minutes of discussion. Free and open to all! Fridays 12:00-12:45
2. Therapeutic Yoga
Look inward for wisdom and insight as you practice being in the present and merging your breath with the rhythm of your body. This class is appropriate for beginners or more experienced yogis and is free for clients.
